Taylor brings to CulturePoint a unique set of talents, as a facilitator/trainer and as a researcher. In addition to working in a consultative capacity with our major DoD clients, Taylor is a doctoral candidate in Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania. He has presented papers to the Linguistics Society of America, the American Dialect Society, the New Ways of Analyzing Variation conference, and the Penn Linguistics Conference. His research has been published in leading linguistics journals and he has given talks at Stanford University, New York University, the University of Texas, North Carolina State University, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Gettysburg College. His approach and understanding of modeling language change and variation, social stratification in language, and his knowledge of topics in African American English brings a valuable perspective to the topic of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
